Emerging Technologies
My article was about a group of people starting an electric company in order to bring electricity to villages in India. Many families had kerosene lamps in order to light their houses before this, and would be forced to make an hour trip to a city so they could recharge their phone. The company is charging 100 rupees($2) per kilowatt hour, for 0.2 amps for 7 hours. Its not much, but it can charge 2 lights and a phone charging point. It's a lot better than what they had before.
I can assume that future technologies will be more futuristic than we think. We are advancing a lot faster in tech than we should, and that's a good thing. I believe future technology will mostly be making things easier, such as storage comparments in video game consoles, allowing the user to select the game they want to play without getting up. I was suprised the most by the Nanapore Sequencing article, because it sounds so high tech, and it's so useful. Possiblities for the future in my articles area are that all the third world countries will become powered, and each home will soon have as much power as the rest of the world. Two technologies from 2009 seemed to corespond with technologies from 2012. Towns running on solar power at night from batteries, while 2012 had more effective ones. The other tech was bringing internet access to third world countries, while 2012 is bring more power to them. My final statement is that I believe technology will never stop growing, and we will always find a way to make the current technology better.

Online A reflection
Online A has taught me a lot. Technology isnt always a fancy computer,a cellphone, or a game system. It can be a simple machine in woodshop, or something that helps you. Technology has gotten more advanced as we progress into new years. It has more features, its faster, and its more reliable. In the future, I believe it will be easier to navigate, and it will be very quick, with more advanced features. Laptops may be smaller. For my homework, I dont always use technology, but when I do, its very reliable. Instead of hunting for facts in my book, or looking for a word in the dictionary, the internet is very helpful. Personal use would be the computer, or my game system. Mostly my game system. I think the tools from online A that I would use would be Avatars and Wiki. Even though wiki is not the most reliable, it has a lot of information and I trust it most of the time, unless I know for a fact. My least favorite part about Online A was delicious. I thought the site was hard to navigate, and just generally boring. I dont think I will ever use a podcast. I dont watch them, and I dont use them, and I will never create one. The online safety part was pretty boring as well, in my opinion, because I have been through so many safety classes in elementary school that it was like a repeat in here. Over all, online A was a good expierience, and many colleges look for computer classes because it's a growing topic.

Cyber Bullying
The movie about cyberbullying had a lot of truth to it, but some of it was over dramatic and painted a pretty picture at the end. Most people dont stand up to bullies, but she did. Also, the whole cafeteria wouldnt gang up on the bullies. The part about the bullying was true though, and thats exactly what happens. Suicide is common in these cases, like we talked about, and it really hurts people. The only difference is that people dont stand up to bullies most of the time.
