The case was between the Bright Tunes Music Corp and George Harrison. BTMC claimed that a group under their name recorded a song before Georges song and it was almost an identical copy. Georges lawyers tried to prove the difference of the songs, but they failed. He was found guilty and charged with a fine of $587,000 and no jail time. This took place January 23, 1971. The case took place Febuary, 1976.
